New SpongeBob Movie Includes Atlantic City Scene

Movie characters have visited Atlantic City before, but maybe never this cartoonish of a movie character.

The new SpongeBob movie, "the SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run", features our favorite, SpongeBob SquarePants, and his best friend Patrick visiting "The Lost City of Atlantic City!"

(You can probably already tell I've spent at least some time glued to Sponge Bob on the small screen.)

The movie was supposed to be released to theaters back in the summer, but is now out on venues such as Netflix.

Among SpongeBob's adventures, is this delightful spin in Atlantic City. It's got all your favorite Atlantic City experiences like the Boardwalk (and boardwalk food), the beach, the water, the casinos, and the clubs.

This is the 3rd SpongeBob movie. In case you didn't know, SpongeBob's creator Stephen Hillenburg died in 2019.
