NJ Couple Vanishes After Renting Jet Ski on Vaca

A local Point listener reached out to ask us to please share this story about her friend's brother and his girlfriend who went to Barbados and haven't been seen since.

Susanna Cruz is the sister of 32-year old Oscar Suarez who, along with his girlfriend, 25-year old Magdalena Devil, rented a jet ski while around 2:30 pm on Monday while on vacation in Barbados, took it out on the water, and never returned.

Local police say they were both wearing life vests when they took off on the jet ski. They didn't return the rental and apparently a search was conducted of the water surrounding the area, but nothing was found. It is reported that they did not return to their hotel room (they were scheduled to check out this Saturday.)

Now Susanna has left for Barbados with her mother to try and find some answers.
