Ocean County Positive Covid-19 Case Total Is 7,192

The amount of positive Covid-19 coronavirus cases Ocean County has had since March 9 is 7,192 according to the latest tally Thursday evening by the Ocean County Health Department with 77 new cases and 502 deaths.

1. Lakewood has 1,949 cases and 103 deaths.
2. Toms River has 1,251 cases/85 deaths.
3. Brick has 931 cases/88 deaths.

• The first case of the coronavirus to reach Ocean County was confirmed in Manchester Township when a 72-year old man contracted the disease.
