Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey said that Barton Cross-Tierney 2nd, 31, of Ocean Township, pled guilty, under a plea agreement, to third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and third-degree Exhibiting Obscenity to a Minor.

In fact, throughout 2018, Acting Prosecutor Linskey said that the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office had received several Cybertips about a user on Discord, who was engaging in inappropriate conversations with underage girls.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Unit, the Ocean Township Police department, members of the ICAC Task Force, and the FBI worked on this investigation and authorities were able to determine “Barton Cross” was actually Barton C. Cross-Tierney, of Franklin Parkway in Ocean Township, NJ.

Barton Cross is scheduled to be sentenced on May 13, 2022

The case is being prosecuted by Monmouth County Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie Dugan.

Cross-Tierney is represented by Michael L. Kuhns, Esq. of Lawrence Township.
