Police Issue Statement Regarding Child Luring in Brick
Brick Police responded to the Drum Point Sports Complex around 11:00 a.m. Saturday after receiving a report of a "suspicious male subject," according to Brick Police Department Det. Sgt. Henry J. Drew in a release.
"The caller advised police dispatch that the subject was asking several juveniles if they 'needed a ride,' 'where they lived,' and 'if they wanted cigarettes,' he said.
Officers found the man in question, according to Drew.
He added "The Brick Township Police Department is familiar with the subject, but would like to speak with anyone who may have come into direct contact with him."
