Pt. Pleasant Named Most Underrated Town in New Jersey
For the second year in a row, Pt. Pleasant has been named the most underrated town in New Jersey and I couldn't agree more.
Thrillist went state-by-state and shined the spotlight on towns they felt didn't get the credit they deserved.
The site had great quotes like:
[Pt. Pleasant is] a far cry from the fist-pumping Jersey Shore you saw on TV.
Point Pleasant perfectly blends family fun and beach partying; you’ll feel just as comfortable day drinking on the beach and hitting Martell’s Tiki Bar at night as you would taking your kids on the carousel at Jenkinson's.
Point is my go-to when I'm in a beach mood because it's clean, safe and fun. Whether you go to Jenks Club in the summer or check out the aquarium in the winter. There's always something to do on (and off) the boardwalk year round.
While writing I'm getting images of a Kohr's cone and giant slice at Jenkinsons.
