National Retailer Shut Down: All Stores Closing Including Its New Jersey Locations
Open since 1924, this popular music retailer will soon close its doors across the country, including here in New Jersey.
This family-owned chain of musical instrument stores sells instruments, recording equipment, DJ and lighting equipment.
It's the store I go to when I need to get piano sheet music for my kids and new headphones for work.
Everyone who works there is always so helpful. It's sad to hear this store is closing.
According to The New York Times, competition from online retailers is the reason for the closing.
This national retailer has 42 locations in several states.
I would go to the one located at Cherry Hill Plaza, off Route 38 near the Cherry Hill Mall. Another store is located in Springfield.
They recently announced on Instagram they were closing ALL stores.
Sam Ash, a staple in the music retail industry, is closing.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that all Sam Ash Music store locations will begin store closing sales today. This unfortunate news also presents a fantastic opportunity for great deals across our premium selection of musical instruments & pro sound equipment. We will also be offering specials on SamAsh.com during this time. Thank you for allowing us to serve musicians like you for 100 years.
With much love and deep gratitude,
The Ash Family
