Scary! Two Fantastic Haunts in Barnegat, NJ This Month
Every year I hear about this walk that's scary and this year I hear it's going to be even scarier.
Operation Halloween is sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Southern Ocean County along with the Scouts of the Jersey Shore Council. This year's Operation Halloween is the weekend of Friday, October 22nd, 2021, and Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm - At Citta Boy Scout Camp, Brookville Road in Barnegat.
Operation Halloween is a family fun event where there is a hay maze, face painting, pumpkin painting, and more. This area is called Pumpkin Street and it's FREE. Various food vendors will be there and Halloween games. Ages 3 and younger are FREE. But, when it becomes dark the scariness begins in the woods.
There are three main events going on this year where you have to pay for a ticket. A non-scary hayride, a haunted walk, and the Zombie Outbreak.
Each one of these main events is $15 / person. There are $5 discounts in local publications throughout Ocean County.
The non-scary hayride, the Munchkin Hayride is from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. (Both Days)
The Haunted Walk is 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. *Not suitable for young children. (Both Days)
The Zombie Outbreak is 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. *Not suitable for young children.(Both Days)
The Zombie Outbreak sounds pretty scary, but I heard about the Haunted Walk from other years that it is really scary. From several people, they said it was really good and you will get scared. That's awesome. I'm not sure if I could do the walk, I might be too scared. I'll take the Munchkin Hayride. That sounds like fun for the kids and the whole family. Click here for more information. Have fun.
