After Mitt Romney said at last week's debate that he would cut the federal subsidy to PBS, everyone seemed to be talking about Big Bird.

Obama's camp capitalized on that, though it seems that the folks at Sesame Street are none too happy about it.

Obama's ad parodies Romney's statements, starting with figures of men like Bernie Madoff and Dennis Kozlowski, then saying that Big Bird is the bigger threat, and how great it is that Romney is taking care of the real problem.

The ad is honestly pretty funny:

But the folks at Sesame Street are not laughing.

Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns. We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down.'

I have to applaud them for not taking sides. Of course Sesame Street is the voice of reason! N is for nonpartisan.
