Just a heads up: There will be a road closure for construction coming up in Monmouth County that you should be aware of.

According to a recent NJDot press release, "Silverside Avenue is going to be closed and detoured in both directions at the railroad crossing between Fairview Avenue and Review Avenue," starting tomorrow, August 13th at 9:00 AM.

The closure will last until 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 20th.

The existing railroad crossing will be abolished and replaced with a new concrete crossing. In addition, new asphalt approaches will also be built for a, "safe and smoother railroad  crossing."
