Six Flags Great Adventure & Six Flags Hurricane Harbor has announced that they will be delaying their grand opening for their 2020 season due to the ongoing pandemic.

Originally, the theme park was supposed to have their Grand Opening this upcoming weekend but that has now been pushed back to at least mid-May.

According to a statement released by Six Flags Great Adventure, "...the safety of our guests, team members and animals is always our highest priority. We will continue to closely monitor this evolving situation and follow the most current guidance from federal, state and local officials." 

If you have prepaid tickets, the valid dates that they can be used has been extended to the end of the 2020 season.

For 2020 Season Pass Holders, passes will be extended for the number of operating days the park is temporarily closed.

Six Flags Great Adventure members will receive a month for each month the park is closed. They will also receive a free Membership level upgrade for the rest of the 2020 Season as well as other bonus benefits.
