What better way to spend part of your snow day then to get out there and go sledding?!

This activity is definitely one of my favorites but it is all about finding the right spot to do so.

So check out some of the best places to go for a fun afternoon of sledding down at the Jersey Shore!

1. Oak Glen Park - Howell
Address: 245 Preventorium Rd, Howell 07731
Information: There is a parking lot at the top and bottom of the hill (but parking at the top probably makes more sense). Definitely a hill large enough to fit everyone who wants to go sledding!

2. Holmdel Park - Holmdel
Address: 3 Hemlock Ln, Holmdel 07733
Information: This spot is only open if there is 2 inches or more of snow but today, you do not need to worry because we are getting way more than that. Plus, there is a shelter building for you to sit by the fireplace and drink hot chocolate.

3. Cheesequake State Park - Matawan
Address: 300 Gordon Road, Matawan 07747
Information: There are smooth and bumpy paths available and you will never have a problem finding a parking space. Just be aware the restrooms may not be open during this time of year. But, there is a shopping center with a Dunkin Donuts and Pizza Hut for post sledding reinforcements.

4. Sledding Hill - West Long Branch
Address: 108 Monmouth Rd, West Long Branch 07764
Information: Watch out for the tombstones! JK! Parking is available in the Aldi lot and there is a sick hill so let her rip!
