It’s time to start thinking about Holiday shopping.  I like to think about Holiday shopping as more of an experience rather than a checklist of items I need to purchase.  Ocean Grove creates that experience and for me, it starts on Small Business Saturday, November 28, 2020.  The one-of-a-kind Ocean Grove Shopping Experience includes strolling through a quaint Victorian town with a variety of businesses offering a unique range of items including apparel, housewares, collectibles, hand-crafted merch and toys for the kids.  On Small Business Saturday, your Holiday Shopping Experience will include live music from the Chuck Lambert Duo from 1pm-3pm and plenty of places to satisfy your appetite.  However, the biggest reward is knowing that you are doing your part to help out your local community and shop owners.  Another way to support local businesses during Covid-19 is by purchasing gift cards, ordering take out and taking advantage of shopping your favorite local businesses online.  The Holiday Shopping Experience continues on December 5, 2020 at the Holiday Craft Festival from 10am-4pm (rain or shine) with artisans and makers showcasing their holiday inspired creations.  Shop while listening to live music from the Band of Strays.  Please practice social distancing, wear your mask and click Ocean Grove for more information and updates.  So, now you can ask yourself, “What kind of shopper am I?”  There are a few different types of shoppers, starting with the Early Shoppers, who are probably already done!  Then there are the Steady Shoppers, who pace themselves throughout the Holiday Season.  Another type are the Black Friday Shoppers, who get most of their gifts on that one day.  Finally, there are the Late Shoppers (that used to be me), who shop at the last minute.  Happy Shopping & Be Safe!
