The Stone Pony 2020 Summer Stage Series, it has just been announced, will be on hiatus this year and is now looking ahead to come back strong for the 2021 season.

This is such an important stage for Asbury Park and the Jersey Shore and, of course, an integral part of The Stone Pony itself. So The Pony wants to say thank you to its fans who have been so loyal and supportive and have been visiting the online store as well as showing encouragement for new types of projects that The Pony is opening its mind to in order to survive.

Caroline O'Toole, the General Manager of The Pony, says this: "Let us always keep our hearts open to the healing power of music."

Meanwhile, The Stone Pony has been trying to serve our music community by hosting live streams to support local musicians as well as launching several fundraising campaigns for Asbury Park and the State of NJ, and providing iconic Pony marquee signs and photos for graduates as a fundraiser for Asbury Park Dinner Table. There is also a billboard in the community that says "We Are With Asbury Park."

The Pony is already seeing a strong 2021 lineup taking shape, which will include several rescheduled concerts previously slated for this summer, as well as new additions. (For ticket holder inquiries, CLICK HERE.)

What can we do in the meantime? The Pony would like you to help celebrate their Summer Stage and are asking you to share photos from your favorite Summer Stage moments. You can submit those selfies to: summerstagelove@stoneponyonline.com.

Many of these images will then be turned into a Stone Pony video to be released this July 4th!

In the meantime, our hearts go out to musicians, production crews, and music venues who are all suffering and struggling to find their way and survive until this pandemic passes and music can once again take it's place in the front row of our lives.
