The warden who ran the federal jail where disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein killed himself was allowed to quietly retire from the Bureau of Prisons in February. He was most recently the warden at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security prison in Burlington County, NJ.
A former federal correctional officer has been sentenced to just over 2-years (26-months) in prison for accepting about $50,000 in cash bribes in exchange for bringing contraband to federal inmates at Fort Dix in New Jersey.
