Ocean County Police Chiefs Association

The Ocean County Chiefs of Police Association and President Joseph Michigan with Point Pleasant Beach Police, launched an online petition looking to containing building public support.

The Marijuana Law currently prevents police from notifying parents if their son or daughter is in trouble with the law for underage drinking and/or marijuana use.

If your son or daughter gets in trouble for smoking or possessing Marijuana under the age of 18, you won't know about it, unless your child tells you what they did.

The FirstEnergy Foundation has donated $65,000 to 13 Police Chiefs Associations across New Jersey.

This won't be a normal, typical summer in Ocean County as much as we wish it would be and as beaches and boardwalks reopen there will be restrictions and rules to follow.

As the amount of positive coronavirus cases continue to rise in New Jersey, Police Chiefs in Ocean County are coming up with alternate response methods to keep officers safe as well as residents.

The Ocean County Police Chiefs Association President and Harvey Cedars Police Chief Roberty Burnaford released a statement on Friday afternoon detailing their current plan of action.
