School Safety

There is a new mandate in place in many New Jersey school systems, Middlesex County being the most recent to join the movement requiring students to use clear backpacks for back to school. Thank you for the effort, but there is a better way.

Threat assessment teams will have to be developed by each school district in the state, starting with the 2022-23 school year.

The legislation prohibits the use of fake blood, real or prop firearms, or simulations of gunshots or explosions in school security demonstrations.
