
Test Dummies Fly Out of Jersey Shore Rollercoaster During Test
The dummies ended up landing on the roof of a hotel!
Playland's Castaway Cove in Ocean City perform routine safety checks, and thankfully they did for their rollercoaster 'GaleForce.'
News 12 spoke to employees who saw the water-filled dummies fly off the coaster and land on the roof of a nearby hotel. There was minor damage.
Officials say that everything on the ride operated properly during the test and that the rollercoaster is safe.
Last year I had a scare when the lap bar become unhooked during a ride at another park. I just held on for dear life. I don't know if I was ever in danger of flying off the ride, but it was still unnerving!
