My flight was canceled last minute and no flights were flying out for 3 days.
I completely understand there are worse places to get stuck, believe me, but it's still an added expense when you have to pay for extra nights at a hotel and food.
As Thanksgiving approaches, concerns are rising among New Jersey travelers about potential flight delays.
Being stuck in an airport is definitely not how anyone wants to spend their holiday.
A new survey by Newark Parking aimed to uncover the top concerns of New Jersey residents when it comes to travel and there are a bunch!

Here are the common worries according to New Jersey fliers:
- Flight delays or cancellations – 42%
- Missing connecting flights – 37%
- Crowded terminals – 36%
- Long walks between gates – 29%
- Misplacing bags or items – 26%

- Follow security guidelines
While all of this is great advice and can certainly help minimize travel stress, the reality is that if your flight gets canceled, there’s not much you can do to control the situation.
I guess we all need to just pack our patience.
