Do you love a stellar eatery?  Craft cocktails?  Well you have a brand new restaurant in  Belmar, New Jersey and everyone is raving about it.  801 Craft Kitchen & Spirits opened this summer and if you haven't been there yet then this is your wake up call!

This spot has a great location at 801 Main Street in Belmar right by Beach Haus Brewery.  Why not beer hop?  See what I did there?  Enjoy everything from cocktails to brews back to back on the beach. Ahhhh that salt air!

The weather is going to be stellar this weekend so it is the perfect plan.

They are brand new and still getting into a rhythm of specials but I do know that 801 will start offering happy hour appetizer/drink specials in the next couple weeks.  The Patch reports that they are also working on opening a rooftop bar which is always a win.  By the end of August you should be able to enjoy the best time at the Jersey Shore…late August through September.

Just look at these offerings from appetizers, and salads to flatbreads this menu rocks.

Main Street Belmar is really becoming a destination for a night out but I recommend you stay over if you can because you will have a lot of fun between these two places alone.

The food at 801 is already highly rated and offers some cool twists like booking a "chefs table" which offers a front row special seat to the meal crafting process.

This a great way to impress your date by the way!

They are open from 5 to 11 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, 5 to 8 p.m. Sundays. Beach dinner date anyone?

LOOK: See America's 50 Best Beach Towns

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
