Boasting an overstuffed hot pastrami sandwich so big that I could never eat it alone, this place is yummy!

I stopped in to try out the new Pastrami House delicatessen in Lincroft during their soft opening and really liked it.

Spending lots of time in this area while I drive my young teen to his college classes, there is precious little good food in the Lincroft area within spitting distance of Brookdale Community College, so as soon as I spotted this new place, I was hopeful.

The eatery is clean, new, and spotless, with a nice seating area. All of the food and sandwiches look awesome. There are lots of menu items to choose from, and plenty of things you can bring home for dinner on a night you don't feel like cooking, or delicious sandwiches and so much more you can grab on your lunch break. (We had some fat and wonderful strombolis and knishes!)

The biggest challenge is navigating your car into the entrance/exit of the Lincroft Grove strip mall on Newman Springs Road where Pastrami House is located. Looks impossible to make a left into the lot from Newman Springs Road if you're coming from the college, so I had to make a left into the Acme, then pull back out and hope I didn't miss the parking lot entrance for this new deli or I would have had to go all the way around again. (You'll get what I mean if you are familiar with the area.)

P.S. The are not only open for breakfast, but, unlike some other places that close after lunch, they stay open most nights until 7 pm so that you can pick up a nice dinner! They also cater parties.
