The Post Office Will Cease Most Operations on December 5
If you're waiting for a delivery from the USPS, you may have to wait a little bit longer.
The President has declared Wednesday, December 5, 2018 a National Day of Mourning as we remember the late President George H.W. Bush.
The USPS says on their website:
The Postal Service® will suspend regular mail delivery and retail service on Wednesday, December 5. USPS® will provide limited package delivery service on that day.
In addition to mail being halted on Wednesday, the stock market will be closed, and many Federal employees will have the day off. Employees are urged to check with their office before asuming they don't have to report to work. December 5 will operate much like a National holiday in terms of operations.
