Dine To Donate Fundraiser To Support Toms River Field Of Dreams

The Toms River Mayor's Advisory Committee on Developmental Disabilities is sponsoring a fundraiser that starts THIS MONDAY (1/7/19)  for the Toms River Field of Dreams to give you the chance to show this organization some support.

From Monday, January 7th to Thursday January 10th, head to the Mellow Mushroom in Toms River for the Dine To Donate Event where 15% of your entire check goes to the Field of Dreams if you show your flyer. Be sure to go for lunch between 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM ONLY because otherwise the donation towards Field Of Dreams will not be made.

The Toms River Field of Dreams' goal is to build the first ever fully accessible park with an all-inclusive complex to address the physical and social inclusion of people of all ages and abilities.

I actually had the privilege of discussing how the Toms River Field of Dreams got started and this new playground with Christian Kane, the President of Toms River Field of Dreams. Christian says that they are only $400,000 away from having all the funds needed for this $2.2 million dollar project.

We are so close and I know that the Jersey Shore has what it takes to put this fundraiser over the edge.

Think of it like this: Every single child has the right to go and play on the playground! Let's make this happen!
