It's very uncommon not to see these stores in major malls like Freehold Raceway, Monmouth, or Ocean County.

This may be a welcomed addition to some fans.

There have been lots of changes happening at the Howell Commons on Route 9 this year.

These are all good changes in my opinion.

It's too often that I'm sharing news of stores in Monmouth and Ocean Counties closing.

It's really a breath of fresh air when popular brands like Burlington and Old Navy move into town.

For some time now there have been empty storefronts between Ulta and Sally.

This is where Carter's, The Sleeper's Shoppe, and The Children's Place used to be located.

I hope you're ready for Howell Commons to get more fragrant because a stand-alone Bath & Body Works is about to open.

Now fans won't have to travel all the way to the mall to get their Wallflowers, candles, and lotions.

That's not the only addition though. Bath & Body Works will have a new next-door neighbor.

Tax preparation company H&R Block will be right next to Bath & Body Works.

While most members of the Howell Happenings NJ Facebook page were happy about the news, others still want more.

One addition that several commenters mentioned they would like to see in the commons is a grocery store.

Specifically, members of the group said Whole Foods or Wegman's would be nice. Hey, you never know!

If you're hoping to step into the new Bath & Body Works before the holidays, you may be out of luck.

While there are clearly preparations being done to the inside of the store, it will likely be months before they are ready for a grand opening.

Watch this space.

Remember when these popular stores were still around Monmouth and Ocean?
