This wrestling season, the Shore Sports Network has once again partnered with Elite Sports Physical Therapy to present our weekly Wrestler of the Week feature.

Each week, a poll will go up with nominees for the SSN Wrestler of the Week and this week's poll will run through Saturday at noon. This week's winner will be announced on Saturday evening.

Week 7 (Jan. 31-Feb. 6) Wrestler of the Week nominees (listed in alphabetical order)

Kianna Aleman, Fr., Lakewood

Aleman won the Shore Conference Tournament title at 145 pounds with a 6-1 decision in the final. She also won by fall in the semifinals.

Davin Brewton, So., Red Bank Catholic

Brewton has had a great sophomore season and delivered a statement win when he pinned Raritan's Nick Burns, giving Burns just his second loss of the season. Burns was ranked No. 4 in the Shore at the time and the victory pushed Brewton into the top five. He is 16-2 this season for the Caseys, who are the top seed in the Non-Public South B and looking for the first sectional title in program history.

Michael DiBiase, Fr., Wall

DiBiase went 3-0 last week and picked up a big ranked win when he defeated Point Boro freshman Joey DeAngelo, 4-2. DiBiase is now 17-5 this season.

John Dodaro, Sr., Lacey

Dodaro added six more victories to his win total last week, including a win by fall over Freehold's Alberto Pantoja, who was ranked in the top 10 in the Shore at 215 pounds. Dodaro is now 19-7 for the Class B South champion Lions.

Ryan Dubnik, So., Freehold Township

Dubnik avenged one of his losses this season when he pinned Matawan's Lawrence Liss in a matchup of top-five 113-pounders in the Shore. Dubnik also had a ranked win over Middletown South's Ryan Madden and now holds a 25-3 record.

Jade Huerta, Jr., Brick

Huerta won the girls Shore Conference Tournament title at 165 pounds when she pinned returning state finalist Abigail Stanberry of Jackson Memorial in the final. Huerta won all three of her bouts by fall in the SCT.

Chloe Lawler, Sr., Jackson Memorial

Lawler rolled to the Shore Conference Tournament 126-pound title with three wins by fall. She was one of six individual champions for the Jaguars, who dominated the field to win the SCT team crown. Lawler is a returning state medalist who was fourth in the state last season.

Alex Nini, So., Christian Brothers Academy

Nini came through with a big victory on both a personal and team level when he defeated Howell's Sebastian Ortega, 4-0, during CBA's 38-29 win over the Rebels in the Shore Conference Tournament championship bout. Nini's victory was a key bout for the Colts and also avenged two losses to Ortega from last season when Ortega finished fifth in the state and Nini was eighth at 113 pounds.

Caitlin O'Reilly, Fr., Middletown South

O'Reilly pinned her way to the Shore Conference Tournament 107-pound championship, ultimately winning by fall over the top seed, Brick's Chelsea Bautista, in 4:56 in the title bout.

Dinayah Vazquez, Sr., Central Regional

A first-year wrestler, Vazquez was one of the stars of the girls Shore Conference Tournament by running through the 114-pound bracket with three wins by fall. She pinned the top seed, Southern's Gracie Cordasco, in 2:23 in the championship bout and was voted as the SCT's Most Outstanding Wrestler.

Ella Yanuzzelli, So., Southern Regional

Yanuzzelli defeated Jackson Memorial's Jordyn Katz, 4-3, to win the 152-pound girls Shore Conference Tournament championship, knocking off the three-time state medalist who was third in NJ last season. Yanuzzelli won by fall in her first two bouts of the tournament before holding off Katz in the final seconds to claim SCT gold.
