Have you noticed that people are flocking to stores a lot more lately? I'm all for it. For anyone who loves walking through home stores for “just one thing” and somehow leaving with ten new ideas, this is pretty big news for New Jersey.

Wayfair is officially coming to New Jersey with a massive new retail store set to open in 2027, and this feels like a pretty big shift for how a lot of us shop for our homes.

If you’ve ever spent way too much time scrolling through Wayfair looking at furniture, rugs, lighting, or random kitchen upgrades, you already know how easy it is to get sucked in. But now, instead of just looking online, shoppers in New Jersey will actually be able to walk in, see everything in person, and get a real feel for the products before buying.

Wayfair Is Opening a Huge New Store in Princeton

The new store will be located along the busy Route 1 corridor in Princeton and will span roughly 135,000 square feet. The site is pretty massive, so it would only make sense that the store is, too.

The location is expected to serve shoppers across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, making it a major destination for home shopping in the region.

Wayfair told NJ.com that the store will carry furniture, home decor, housewares, appliances, and Wayfair Verified products, which are among the brand’s most trusted and highly rated items.

What Shoppers Can Expect at the New Princeton Wayfair

One of the biggest perks is convenience.

Some smaller items will be available for same-day pickup, which is great if you need something fast. Larger furniture pieces can still be delivered through Wayfair’s existing delivery network.

Another nice touch is that free design services will be available in-store, giving shoppers access to help with layouts, style ideas, and room planning.

Honestly, that could be a huge draw for people who want a little guidance before making bigger purchases.

The Princeton location will open at Nassau Park Pavilion, one of the area’s biggest retail centers.

Wayfair has already expanded into physical retail with stores in Atlanta, Illinois, and Ohio. But bringing one this close to home feels different.

For New Jersey shoppers, this could become a go-to spot for home inspiration, decorating ideas, and the chance to see those online finds in real life before clicking buy.
