Here are some fun family events going on this weekend (April 18 - 20, 2014) in Monmouth and Ocean Counties:

-- It's Jenkinson's Boardwalk Annual 2-FOR-1 Easter Amusement Park Special in Point Pleasant Beach, Friday through Sunday, 11 am - 6 pm, or online all weekend by CLICKING HERE. For every ride book you purchase, receive one free. Books sold as followed: 20 tickets = $15 (boardwalk locations only), 60 tickets = $25, 140 tickets = $50 (sale excludes single tickets). -- It's the Annual Ticket Sale at Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach Waterpark in Seaside! Easter weekend, for one weekend only, you can get your half-price ride tickets! Friday through Sunday, 11 am - 6 pm, or get them online from April 17th (8 am) through April 21st (9 pm) by CLICKING HERE. The 100 ticket book for rides (not including Skyscraper or Go-Karts) is regularly $60 but for the Easter sale is $30. For Breakwater Beach, 5 All-Day Waterpark admission tickets, regularly $160, will be on sale for $80. And a Go-Kart book with 5 passes, which is regularly $40, will be on sale for $20!

-- The annual Allaire Village Easter Event for kids under 12. Search for more than 10,000 prize-filled eggs. Some of the eggs will be filled with tickets for bigger prizes, and the eggs are first come, first served, so get your baskets ready and come early! It begins at Noon. Kids can also enter a homemade bonnet contest and parade starting at 2 pm Saturday in front of the General Store. Winners will score extra prizes. There will also be games, arts and crafts, face painting, and other demonstrations that will have you feeling like you are back in the early 19th century. -- Six Flags Great Adventure will host a special Easter Celebration giving guests the chance to search for eggs filled with PEEPS. The Saturday morning event will also include onsite entertainment, games and giveaways. The first 100 guests (toddlers to age 12) to arrive by 9:30 am will receive a PEEPS Egg Hunt Participant Wristband and up to 3 spectator wristbands for friends and family members to join in the celebration.
