"Watch A Toms River Community Terrorized By Wild Turkeys" read one of the stories. It was a time of both fear AND comedy. I mean, there was something funny about people being trapped in their homes or cars because a flock of birds was outside. Maybe you remember this story on ABC 7?

Even this past fall (2020) in my Bayville neighborhood I encountered some wild turkeys. Now, I haven't seen one in months. Have they retreated to the Pinelands or other local habitats? Do you know?
