We asked New Jersey residents to share some of the worst pick-up lines they've heard at the Jersey Shore, and there is no shortage.

We use the word "worst" loosely here because even some bad pick-up lines can be cute, or at the very least funny.

We filtered out some of the lines that were, shall we say, adult-oriented, so the article is safe for all ages.

We chuckled as we read the lines and chose our favorites to share with you. These should get you ready for summer 2025 at the Jersey Shore.

"Are you a seashell, because I've been looking for you all day?". I love this one for its creative use of the beach surroundings. Chance of working: 5

"Do you have a sunburn, or do you wake up this hot?" It's all in the delivery, so it could be a hit or an epic fail. Chance of working: 5

"Is it safe to do CPR on the sand, because you're taking my breath away". My favorite one. Chance of working: 8

"Are you made of sand? Because I'm digging you." It's cute and it makes you giggle. Not bad. Chance of working:7

We enjoyed all of the lines we heard, and are looking forward to a long summer, which may be a lot longer for the people hearing these lines than the ones delivering them.
