Absolut Cucumber Daisy – Cocktail of the Week

When it comes to cocktails, sometimes adding an unusual ingredient to a standard combination of flavors can really elevate things...and that's what this week's cocktail is all about!

The Absolut Cucumber Daisy combines some of my favorite ingredients then adds a twist that you might not expect, but will certainly enjoy on a hot summer day!

On to the good stuff!

Ingredients:

• 2 oz. Absolut Cilantro
• .75 oz elderflower liqueur (like St. Germain)
• .5 oz fresh lime juice
• 4 small pieces cucumber (chopped)
• cucumber wheel, to garnish

Muddle the cucumber pieces and elderflower liqueur in a shaker. Add Absolut Cilantro, lime juice, and ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and garnish with a fresh cucumber wheel!

Switch it up:

Cilantro and lime are a pretty classic combo, but play around and see what additions work with them to bring a new flavor...Think mango puree, blackberry brandy, or even tomato juice instead of the elderflower liqueur!
