Allaire Village has once again been awarded a special honor.

Congratulations to Allaire Village on being awarded the distinct honor of Best Historical Site in the state of New Jersey.

This annual award is presented by New Jersey Monthly magazine as a result of their readers' poll. And I must say that I agree. I have been bringing my children to Allaire Village since they were babies and some of our best memories and pictures are from the beautiful park grounds and historic buildings at Allaire.

Christopher and Benjamin's favorite event in Allaire Village is the Haunted Hayride at Halloween where you get dropped off for haunted happenings in most of the historic buildings in the dark of night!

Plus, Allaire State Park is also the home of the Pine Creek Railroad....a train my boys have ridden in all seasons and for many special events like the Haunted Halloween Train and the Santa train at Christmas.

Step back in time and visit Allaire Village in Farmingdale for so many historical, cultural, and fun events, like the 19th Century Bee Hive Oven Baking demonstration on April 15th.
