They are the three words that seem to come faster each and every summer, and they are here again. It's time for the kids to head back to school.

We had the opportunity to talk about back to school health tips for the kids with Dr. Lakshmi Nandiwada, a pediatrician at Hackensack Meridian Health, and she offered some great, common sense advice as well as health info as the kids head back to school.

One of the topics highlighted in the interview is sleep, including how much the kids should be getting depending on their age range, and some of the results of lack of sleep. Check out the video below for the full interview.

Dr Nandiwada also suggested that parents concerned about bullying should read Foster Resilience, Building Resilience in Children by Kenneth Ginsburg.
