Bon Jovi Leading Fan Vote For Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

If it was left up to the fans, Bon Jovi would be a no brainer to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Bon Jovi is in first place in the fan voting, having received 248,000 votes through 10/16, according to northjersey.com, and that's over 50,00 more votes than the closest competitor, the Moody Blues.

Of course, even though the fans get a chance to vote and those votes matter, the choice, for the most part, falls into the hands of a large panel of music industry people, music historians and artists, according to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame website. Bon Jovi has been eligible since 2007.

As with anything else these days, music industry politics probably play a part in all of this stuff, but maybe it's time to give the fans what they want, and give the band what it deserves.

In my humble opinion, It's time Bon Jovi was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Actually, it's way overdue. I'm not really sure what's taking so long, but I've yet to hear a reason that makes sense to me.
