This week's restaurant is one I could rave about for days!

If you're in the mood for BBQ, you HAVE to check this place out!

There aren't many BBQ places in our area, but Jersey Shore BBQ is one that's doing it right.

Doug Walsh spent 10 years living in Texas, where he learned the art of low-and-slow barbecue cooking.

At Jersey Shore BBQ you can get a range of options, all with perfectly pink smoke rings and amazing flavor. It's a small place, so there might be a wait, but it's totally worth it!

They offer traditional barbecue options of like baby back ribs, chicken, and pulled pork, and even burgers. The Mondo Joe burger, made with beef brisket, topped with pulled pork and slaw, was named Judges' Choice at this year's Great Jersey Shore Burger Contest. (I was a judge. It deserved the win. It's insanely good!)

I'd highly suggest the Belmar Duo with the Burnt Ends (chopped brisket) and pulled pork, bacon potato salad, and cornbread. You'll have leftovers for at LEAST another dinner and it's so goooooood.

Also give the fried pickles or smoked pork belly appetizer a go, or save room for one of their housemade desserts!

Jersey Shore BBQ is located in the Belmar Plaza between 8th and 10th Ave along Main St. in Belmar. Open Tuesday - Sunday 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. BYOB. Call (732) 894-9009 for more info.
