Great Jersey Shore Burger Contest This Weekend

Coming up this weekend is one of my favorite events of the year...and I get to serve as a judge again!

Jersey Shore Restaurant Week presents The Great Jersey Shore Burger Contest this Saturday, April 18th from 1-4 p.m. at Bar A in Lake Como.

Come out and sample burgers from some of the best chefs at the Jersey Shore, and cast your vote for the People's Choice winner!

Some participating restaurants include Harpoon Willy's, Bar Anticipation, Prohibition, Nauvoo Grill, 2014 People's Choice winner The Committed Pig, and 2014's Judges' Choice winner Jersey Shore BBQ.

Joining me on the judging panel are Chef Mike Jurusz from Chef Mike's ABG and Deb Smith from Jersey Bites.

This year's event is also combined with the first ever Bar A Craft Beer Festival.

The craft beer festival will feature suds from New Jersey Beer Co., Beach Haus Brewery, Kane brewery, Shipyard, Kona, North Coast Brewing, and a ton more!

Tickets are $30 for the burger contest only (all burgers, plus 5 beer tickets) or craft beer festival only (no burgers, 12 beer tickets) - or $50 for both (all burgers plus 12 beer tickets) and can be purchased by clicking HERE. (You will be able to purchase additional beer tickets on site.)
