The real reason Richie Sambora has left Bon Jovi's tour could be somewhere between the stated "personal issues" and reports of a feud between Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi.

The New York Post's Page Six reports Sambora's departure from the band before Tuesday night's concert in Calgary came at the urging of Jon's wife Dorthea who wants the tour to be alcohol-and-drug free.

“Jon [Bon Jovi] has been trying to get rid of him. He drinks constantly and has a stream of Hollywood bimbos around all the time,” a band insider told the Post.

The insider says Sambora, who has done several rehabilitation stints over the past few years "didn’t believe in rehab."

Sambora may also be upset over the poor sales of his recent solo album and the failure of his clothing line, White Trash Beautiful.

Theofilos 'Phil X' Xenidis has replaced Sambora for the remaining leg of the tour, which ends April 25 in San Jose, Calif before heading to South Africa and Europe starting May 7.
