Girl’s Night at Kur Wellness Studios in Asbury Park

Whether you're looking for yoga, massage and pampering, or something unusual like singing bowls (!), the brand new Kur (pronounced CURE) is the place for you!

Last night I had the pleasure of hosting a Girl's Night at Kur Wellness Studios in Asbury Park. This new, hip, tranquil place is incredible.

We had an amazing experience on the yoga wall, as you will see from these pictures. And, keep in mind, all but one of us were beginners! The yoga wall is perfect if you are starting out, because it helps keep you balanced and able to do moves you wouldn't normally be able to hold yourself up for. It also allows you to stretch your body in very unusual ways, as seen in the pictures. And then, once you become a yoga pro, you can REALLY have fun on this wall! They are offering yoga wall training for teachers, too!

Inspirational instructors, incredible therapists, calming spaces, tranquil music, beautiful dim lighting -- you will both relax and find your inner peace and strength here.

From skin care and facials, to massage such as deep, Swedish, hot stone, couples, Thai, Reiki, and Gharshana, to yoga on the soft zebra floor and wall (cool and warm flow), you are in for a treat at Kur.  And you can also get an Ayurvedic consultation to get advice on how to take care of yourself for your best health.

Some of The Point winners and their guests also got Thai massages (and said you MUST have one!), we experienced an audio massage with Alex and his quartz crystal singing bowls...something that I highly recommend you try. In Kur's massage and facial rooms (which, by the way, each have their own private bathrooms) you will relax in a gorgeous environment with very unusual and incredible lighting, and then, for a bonus experience, you should really book a steam shower...even the shower has incredible lighting and you will feel amazing whether you get a western massage or try something new with an exotic eastern massage or treatment! After my day there, I wanted to just move in and stay forever! What a place!
