This was an unbelievable summer season at the Jersey Shore, and Labor Day Weekend was no exception.

The weather, for the most part was cooperative and many of us got the chance to do the things we wanted to do as the summer came to an unofficial close. Of course we still have our local summer ahead, but there is still that sadness that comes along for lovers of summer when Labor Day Weekend winds down.

We chose to spend our weekend close to home, and one of the highlights was a stroll along the busy Jenkinson's Boardwalk. To me, it's always a beautiful to see the crowds of families and the sea of umbrellas, especially after standing in those same spots just days after Sandy, and wondering about future summers.

I hope you had a great summer season, and now we get to look forward to our local summer and all the great things associated with that. Let's enjoy every minute of it!
