How Hot Has It Been? Only The Hottest Ever! [POLL]

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association has announced that the first half of this year is the hottest on record across the contiguous U.S....ever. It's no surprise to us here in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.  We've been sweating with evey move we make.

We have a break this week from the incredible heatwave, but what a summer it has been already. There were days that you literally couldn't move. There is nothing I enjoy more than being outdoors on a hot Jersey shore summer day, but there were many days that it was just impossible.

So where do you think the summer ranks so far? We've seen some crazy hot summers here at the Jersey shore over the years. How does summer 2012 size up?
