According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Wawona Packing, a California based packing company, has issued a voluntary recall of certain lots of types of peaches, nectarines, plums and pluots due to potential listeria contamination.

The fruit was packed between June 1st and June 12th, according to foodsafetynews.com. On Sunday, Wegmans announced a recall of "several in-store baked desserts sold from June 1-20 because they may contain fresh peaches, nectarines and plums supplied by the CA packing company".

Accordind to klon2.com, the packing company informed it's retailers, which include Costco and Sam's Club. Anyone in possession of the fruit should discard it immediately. The article reports that no illnesses related to this recall have occurred  yet.
