Monmouth and Ocean Counties are both among the top 10 healthiest counties in the Garden State.

The annual Robert Wood Johnson Foundation findings listed the healthiest counties in New Jersey and Monmouth County ranked sixth healthiest, while Ocean County ranked #8, according to a report at nj.com.

According to the report, social factors such as employment, income, education and environmental conditions were among the factors considered in the research. Health factors, such as tobacco use, exercise and eating habits were included as well.

The healthiest county in the state according to the findings is Hunterdon County. Middlesex County is ranked #5 most healthy.
