Fresh Kitchen opened a few months ago and gives you the opportunity to each a healthy meal instead of the usual fast food.

Fresh Kitchen is located in the Sea Girt Mall Shopping Center (where the Foodtown and Dunkin Donuts are near the Manasquan Circle.)

The owners want to make the world a better place to eat, after searching to find restaurants that provide healthy, nutritious meals and coming up short.

Fresh Kitchen was opened by Mike Nitto of Manasquan with the intention of giving people the opportunity to have a delicious meal while keeping nutrition in mind....something that, by the way, is very important to cancer patients who have to be very careful about what they eat due to their immunity being down and side effects from chemo/radiation.

Much of the menu at Fresh Kitchen is produced by local farmers, one of which is located in Wall -- Thomason Family Farm. In order to provide healthy food and give customers control over their meals, the Fresh Kitchen team, under chef Chris Burgess, makes 'to-order' food. That means that guests are able to personalize their meals by adding healthy ingredients of their choosing, knowing that every option is a nutritious one.

Partner Mary Kate Nitto of Manasquan, a mom of three, says she had been looking for healthier options to feed her busy kids and wanted to be able to serve them food that she felt good about, which can be hard when running from school to sports, etc.
