Two Towns, One Voice, One Mission. That's the name of an upcoming concert at Brookdale Community College to benefit Sandy victims in Union Beach. Get your tickets now!

We have followed Jacquie Lee's career since she first auditioned to be on NBC's The Voice. We debuted her song "Broken Ones" and we've had her in our studios on our morning show several times since her journey began.

Now Jacquie has wrapped up The Voice nationwide tour and is doing a special concert to help Superstorm victims in Union Beach at the Collins Arena at Brookdale, along with another special guest from her season on The Voice: Matthew Schuler, who was an early-on favorite to win and a super likeable guy!

The RockNRoll Chorus, a NJ-based voices-only rock and roll group currently on a national tour, will open the show on August 23, 2014. Tickets are on sale now!

Jacquie Lee has recently turned 17, and was mentored by Christina Aguilera while on The Voice, where she also got great advice from Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Ceelo Green during her time on the show. We have loved being a part of her journey and she remains the sweet, down-to-earth girl that left her family and friends for so long to travel to California and then around the country on tour.

She is so happy to be home, but is super busy in NYC and LA making things happen that we will keep you posted on. (If you heard our show this morning, you are probably as excited as we are for this awesome Monmouth County girl!)

Jacquie's song Broken Ones is out on iTunes and has 4.5 million streams on Spotify. It shot to the Top 20 on iTunes Pop Chart when it was released!

As for the fundraising concert, Union Beach was just one of the many towns in our area destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. Nearly 200 homes needed to be demolished, another 500 took on five feet of water, and another 1,000 had up to three feet of water damage. This small town of mostly small, single-family homes (which are the owners' primary residences) has fought to survive since the hurricane. Even police, fire, emergency services and the school all sustained significant damage to their buildings and equipment. And the rebuilding is not even close to accomplished.

Operation Provide Comfort, which is presenting this great concert at Brookdale with Jacquie Lee, is led by Colts Neck resident Lt. Col. Jim Sfayer, USMC Ret. Colts Neck churches and community organizations, through Operation Provide Comfort, have taken a prominent role in helping Union Beach in their recovery effort.

One hundred percent of all donations given to Operation Provide Comfort go directly to the residents of Union Beach.

Tickets range from $25 to $150 for the VIP package and can be PURCHASED HERE. Or you can call 800-514-3849.
