All this month we have had the honor of having representatives of The American Cancer Society, including Senior Director of Special Events, Kathleen Gelchion Daly, who joined us this morning, as well as local breast cancer survivors on the morning show to talk about Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and now the big weekend is here!
There is no doubt that if you walk or drive through Point Pleasant Beach, you will be reminded that it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This past Friday's "Pink Out Point Beach" is the reason for the great reminder.
It's always one of the most amazing events of the year, and this year promises to be as well. The American Cancer Society's "Making Strides" Walk is fast approaching all over the state, including the one in Point Pleasant Beach (the largest in the state) set for Sunday October 21st at Arnold and Ocean Avenues.
