The first big snowstorm of 2017 could potentially bring several inches of snow Thursday morning into afternoon across the shore and crews have already been preparing. This will be a post updated as information becomes available.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for 18 of New Jersey's 21 counties for Thursday morning, including all of the Jersey Shore.

All of South Jersey and part of Central Jersey are now expected to see heavy snow and terrible travel conditions through Saturday evening.

If you live along New Jersey’s southern coast, you need to pay close attention to this coastal storm. Further north, it’ll be another minor snowstorm - if that.

We slept through the night and woke up to about an inch or two of snow on Friday but, another round of this wintry weather is coming up on Saturday and crews in Ocean County are ready to go again.

While we can probably expect snowfall in the range of 1-3 inches between the overnight hours Thursday into Friday, Ocean County Emergency Officials have the trucks and snow-melting gear ready to go.

Hermine is approaching and we want to see what it looks like outside your window!  If you can SAFELY take a photo or video of the storm or damage in your area, we want to see it.
