The Most Mispronounced Words In New Jersey
Coffee. Even though most of us say it CAW-fee, the correct pronunciation is KAA-fee, but with the amount we drink, we should be able to say it however we want.
Talk. If there is one thing we do more than drinking coffee here in New Jersey, is it talking, and for all the "taak".
Drawer Sometimes we drop a letter, and sometimes we drop 2. In New Jersey, we fold our clothes and put them in a "draw". Everybody else puts them in a drawer (dro-r).

Water. We all get thirsty, but here in the Garden State, we drink WAH-ter. The rest of the country drinks WAA-tr.
