2017 Seaside Heights Free Camping on the Beach Dates

Seaside Heights is once again giving you the chance to camp overnight on the beach for free this summer!

It's being dubbed "Full Moon Beach Camping," and you'll be able to spend the night listening to the sounds of the surf on Sunday, July 9 and Monday, August 7. The events will happen on the North Beach at Heiring Avenue.

So, how does this all work?

• Camping takes place from 7 p.m. until 10 a.m. the next morning.
• There will be quiet hours from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. that must be observed.
• Police will continually monitor the camping site throughout the course of the event.
• Alcohol is not allowed, but you are allowed to bring coolers for food and other beverages with you.

While it's free to camp, registration is required. Just a heads up, last year all spots were claimed soon after registration was opened.

Seaside hasn't announced when registration will open, but they urge everyone to keep checking back with Exit82.com.
