Thanks to the Asbury Park Film Initiative headed up by Langosta Lounge's Marilynn Schlossbach, movies on the beach in Asbury Park will return this summer in August.

As is tradition, the giant 16-foot screen will be set up on the 2nd Avenue beach, right near Langosta.

The only change this year is that movies will be shown on Wednesdays in August. In the past, it had been Thursdays.

Admission is free, so pick a flick, bring a blanket or chair and enjoy starting at dusk! Be sure to check APFI's Facebook page for weather updates.
