Drive-in movies became one of the only ways to enjoy outdoor entertainment last year. While the situation at the time wasn't ideal, it reminded us of just how much fun drive-in movies are.

That's why it's so exciting that Brick is bringing back their drive-in movie series for 2021 as part of Brick Summerfest. 94.3 The Point and our sister stations are the official media sponsors of the event. Check out the entire list of concerts and events happening in Brick, here.

Now, back to the movie. Or should I say movies.

Flicks will be shown at dusk at Windward Beach Park.

Gates to the park will open one hour prior to showtime, and parking will be first-come, first-served. Admission should be a little easier this year as COVID restrictions have been lifted.

Here are the movies to look forward to.

FRIDAY AUGUST 6 - BACK TO THE FUTURE

Marty McFly, a 17-year-old high school student, is accidentally sent thirty years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, the eccentric scientist Doc Brown.

FRIDAY AUGUST 13 - ABOMINABLE

Three teenagers must help a Yeti return to his family while avoiding a wealthy man and a zoologist who wants him for their own needs.

FRIDAY AUGUST 20 - THE AVENGERS

Earth's mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity.

FRIDAY AUGUST 27 - TOM & JERRY

A chaotic battle ensues between Jerry Mouse, who has taken refuge in the Royal Gate Hotel, and Tom Cat, who is hired to drive him away before the day of a big wedding arrives.
Drive-in movies are cool, but so are movies on the beach! Check out Jenkinson's schedule.
