It's just not summer without movies on the beach. Belmar is once again presenting its series of flicks in the sand.

Thursday nights in July and August, head to 7th Avenue beach at dusk for a free family-friendly movie.

Belmar Boy Scout Troup 40, the Belmar Community Garden, the Belmar Historical Society, and the Belmar Women's Club will all be selling popcorn before each night's movie.

There aren't just movies on the beach, there are movies under the stars at Pier Village in Long Branch. Every Wednesday night in July and August bring your favorite chair or blanket and take in a family-friendly movie on the green Festival Plaza grass beginning at dusk.
